The model
We pull live organic search traffic, keyword footprint, and ranking data for any domain via DataForSEO Labs, then run a category ad-RPM model to estimate display/ad revenue. It does not include affiliate commissions, sponsorships, or private programmatic deals because those are not visible in public traffic data.

Are sponsorships included in the estimate?
No. Sponsorship deals are private contracts between a publisher and a brand. We only see public traffic signals, so we cannot estimate sponsorship income.
What about affiliate revenue?
No. Affiliate commissions depend on conversion rates, commission rates, and which products a site links to — none of which are visible in public data.
Are programmatic ad deals counted?
No. Private programmatic, direct-sold, and premium ad inventory are not visible externally. We model display/ad revenue using category RPM benchmarks only.
How accurate is the revenue number?
It is an estimate, not a financial statement. Real revenue varies by ad fill, audience quality, seasonality, and direct deals. We show a ±30% confidence band around the median estimate.
